Features
Garage doors are given extra strength by box-section chassis' around all four edges, which resists any attempts to lever the door open. 'Button Locked' joints mean doors have the minimum number of rivets in construction.
We ensure quality in all our doors and our highly automated production line ensures that we deliver that consistent quality and means doors can be made to your chosen width and height.
We give all our doors an all over polyester powder finish, which is baked on, ensuring extra durability. The quality after our five stage pre-treatment and polyester finish is outstanding, and is available on all our garage door designs.
Remote Control Information
Oxley up and over doors can be fitted with a remote control system so you can open and close the door at the touch of a button from up to 50m away.
Our remote control systems come in a range of styles to suit every garage door, and come with 2 handsets, each incorporating rolling code technology with over 74 trillion combinations, ensuring maximum security, eliminating the risk of the code being copied.
Security Information
All doors with tracked and Optimizer operating gear are factory fitted with 4 point sprung lever action locking as standard.
All doors with canopy operating gear are factory fitted with 2 point sprung lever action locking, preventing the door from being levered open.
All our one-piece up and over doors are supplied with a separate handle and eurocylinder lock, which prevents access by attacking a joint handle/lock mechanism.
Operating Gear Information
Oxley up and over doors are available in canopy, tracked and optimizer styles. All designs are fitted with springs above the door, this provides the tension needed to help the door open and close. Canopy lifting gear is most popular, due to the ease in which it is fitted and the cost friendly price.
Tracking lifting gear uses horizontal tracks, which supports the door when it is open. This is particularly ideal for remote control operation. Springs on the door are located on the frame legs, either side of the door.
Optimizer lifting gear has tracks on the side of the door panel which helps optimize the opening. It is installed quickly and is ideal for use with a remote control system.
Garage Door Options
We match our steel door frames to match the door, meaning timber frames are no longer attached to our steel doors.
Corinthian, Minster, Doric and Victoria doors are available with vision windows across the top row, this enables natural light to be let into the garage.
Rubber weather-strips help keep the weather out of the garage.
Corinthian, Minster, Doric, Victoria and Regent doors are available with louvred ventilation, which allows air to circulate in the garage.
Optional Extras for up and over garage doors
We have a range of optional extras available for your choice of up and over garage door. Metal door frames are extremely high quality replacements old timber frames, they give extra strength, whilst requiring very little maintenance. Natural daylight can be enhanced in to your garage by extra vision windows, and the air circulation can be improved by ventilation systems.
Extra strength metal frames are available with premiere steel, timber and GRP doors and are a low maintenance alternative to timber. Our white GRP doors are powder paint finished in white, and our timber or timber coloured GRP doors are powder paint finished in conker brown.
If you order a metal frame together with any premiere steel door, the frame will be finished to match the door, including any laminate or plastisol finishes. Alternatively, a picture frame effect can be created for your door, in which case a white finish will be used.
