Request a call back
If you remember the traditional gates that had to be opened manually, then you would probably know how inconvenient it used to be. When you get home after a long day at work, the last thing you want is to get out of the car, open up the gate, get right back in and close the gate after you drive in. The same thing goes for instances when you have visitors swinging by. Who wants to have to run to the end of the driveway to open the gate manually, or pay a person to stand guard?
The technology of gate motors has solved this problem. At Oxley, we make sure you have the most reliable gate openers. This is why we deliver nothing but the best GSM receivers and intercoms for your gate opening system.
What are GSM receivers for?
This system uses mobile phone technology. This receiver is programmed to be linked to a mobile number. This number can then call the receiver, prompting it to open the gate remotely, and because the call is dropped the moment the gate opens no extra charges will be added to your mobile phone bill.
You can program the GSM receiver to be accessed by up to 250 different numbers, which is perfect for huge events that you’re hosting. Of course, each number can easily be deleted once the access is no longer needed.
The biggest advantage that a GSM receiver has is its ability to open the gate by a simple signal from your phone no matter where you are around the world. This means that any delivery you expect can be brought straight to your door regardless of where you are.
What are GSM intercoms for?
Simply put, GSM intercoms allow you to communicate with guests at the gate, as well as with your gate itself so that it knows when to open and close. It basically works like a mobile phone, with a call being routed to a specific phone number (pre-programmed depending on which of your phones you want to use) every time a visitor presses the intercom at the gate. From here, you can find out who is at the gate and what they are here for.
A number of different mobile or landline phones can be saved in the system, allowing the intercom to alternately call each one a certain number of times. This ensures that no visitor call is left unanswered as much as possible. And because you can answer the call no matter where you are, possible intruders will not be given the chance to find out whether someone is home or not.
